8th December 2019, Kathmandu College of Management, Gwarko: At 4 pm, International President Deepak Menon, DTM along with District 41 Director Jennifer Ghosh, DTM, District 41 Club Growth Director Ranjit Acharya, DTM, Division A Director Suman Shakya, DTM and Area A3 Director Ankit Goenka arrived at the premises of Kathmandu College of Management (KCM).
They were greeted by the college Principal Mr. Bishnu Raj Adhikari, faculty members, and students. They proceeded to the hall dedicated to Toastmasters meeting of the college’s club. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by the official inauguration of the hall.
As Menon took over the stage, the hall was filled with thunderous claps. He spoke about how Toastmasters is important in our lives-especially for us students pursuing Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Moreover, he compared Toastmasters to an MBA course and talked about how it teaches important things applicable not only to professional endeavors
but also to personal lives. Suman Shakya, DTM and the Principal of KCM, Mr. Bishnu Raj Adhikari also shared their views on the occasion followed by a tea break and an interaction session.
