Bhanu Dabadi is a passionate Toastmaster since 1998 and an acclaimed Trainer, Teacher, Mentor, Coach, and a Leadership Guru. He believes that Toastmasters is not only a place where leaders are made, but is rather a way of life, a proven technology that transforms body, mind, and speech of a member who deliberates and offers him/her in the process. He has termed it BMS Technology. He is a phenomenal speaker, an influencer and a person who is always positive towards learning and teaching. An optimist, an erudite and a supportive leader, he leaves an impact on each person that he talks to.
He holds the leadership title of Associate Club Growth Director- Marketing in District 41 for the year 2019-20, serving North & East India, Nepal, Bangladesh & Bhutan. As per his membership date, he is one of the longest serving active members of District 41. In his journey, he has served as the Area Director, President, Vice President Education, Mentor, Sponsor for various clubs in Division A. He has completed his ACS, ALB from the legacy program and Effective Coaching Level 1 under Pathways. This demonstrates his attitude to learn, lead and adapt to changes with undivided focus on core values of Toastmasters.
Professionally, he comes with 25 years of experience in the banking industry, where he held prestigious positions with various Banking Institutions throughout his banking career as Head of Corporate Communication and Branding, Head Human Resource, and Head of Retail Lending in national level commercial banks. Under his leadership, he successfully managed human resources during the merger of two national-level banks for the first time in Nepal. Bhanu is multilingual and has a dream to be able to speak the language of 60% of the world population, so he has learned Mandarin. Besides he speaks English, Hindi, Nepali, and Bangla fluently.
In his closer knits, he is known as a philosopher, thinker, and an avid follower of the values of Buddhism. He is an untiring learner who holds multiple Masters: MA, MBA, EMBA & M.Phil from various universities in Nepal. Currently, he is a Ph.D. Scholar at Kathmandu University. His persistent learning attitude as a Toastmaster, in-depth academic exploration and rich professional experience make him a versatile and dependable individual member of communities he is a part of.
