Top-up Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) this year was more than the regular training with one-way interactions from our eloquent and proficient speakers. The top-up was organized by Area A5 under the leadership of Area A5 Director Toastmaster Avish Acharya. His team of organizers was successful to pull off the event. We had a cherry on the top as we could encounter the gracious presence of our Division Director DTM Suman Shakya. We were blessed with a total participation of around seventy Toastmasters from various clubs.

The session was divided into three essential parts. The first session had Area A2 Director Toastmaster Ravi Mainali who drove us around the importance of delegation. We were also given an opportunity to do a self-assessment regarding our delegation skills. The audience was divided into groups and every group came up with their own approaches to delegation.

Similarly, the other session was led by our Division Mentor and Associate PQD of District 41, Toastmaster Shaurab Lohani. The activity under the session was designed to convey the strength of teamwork which was to be applied by the club officers in their respective clubs. The final session was a panel discussion moderated by Toastmaster Avish Acharya. The panel had three astounding leaders representing their clubs. We had Toastmaster Asira Khanal (President, Himalaya Toastmasters Club), Toastmaster Sahishnuta Sharma( VPPR, Laxmi Bank Toastmasters Club), and Toastmaster Rupak Mainali (VPM, Himalaya Toastmasters Club). They discussed executive committee roles and addressed questions from the audience.

We also had a feedback form circulated in order to keep track of the responses. Top Up TLI with its new flavor this year was a megahit supported by the entire Toastmasters fraternity.
